The Open Day will take place as part of the Roadshow for a #StrongerFuture, organised to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Česká spořitelna. Thanks to it, an exhibition and a series of lectures presenting interesting Czech science and technology projects - from the nanoworld to space - will be on display at Mírové náměstí from 2 to 6 May.
One of the highlights of the programme will be the Open Day of the SYNERGYS geothermal project, which will take place on Saturday 3 May. During the event, visitors will be introduced to the project, which focuses on the use of geothermal energy and other renewable resources on the grounds of the Charles University Research Centre RINGEN. Between 10:00 and 16:00, participants will have the opportunity to visit the modern research facilities, meet experts and discuss the future of sustainable energy.
The event is ideal for families with children, who will enjoy fun and educational activities focused on energy and the use of natural resources. There will also be refreshments with a geology theme.
Admission to all Roadshow events will be free, as will the shuttle service between Mírové náměstí and the RINGEN Centre. The bus will depart at 10:00, 12:00 and 14:00 from the public transport boarding point at Mírové náměstí. Parking for cars is available directly in front of the RINGEN Research Centre.
