Video: Start of drilling of the first thermal energy storage in the rock environment of the SYNERGYS project

[12.2.2026] In January 2026, a key part of the SYNERGYS geothermal project began at the former Jiří from Poděbrady barracks in Litoměřice. Within a few weeks, the first of three planned drilling fields for underground heat storage, called BTES 1 (Borehole Thermal Energy Storage), will be created here.
